ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

·Quality Assurance to Excellence.

· Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned quality professionals. Coach and develop staff. Set clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manage performance-- recognizing achievement, providing feedback and administering progressive discipline.

· Define resource needs and work within budget and staffing parameters to accomplish objectives.

· Promote a continuous improvement environment by providing leadership and direction for facility teams.

· Facilitate communication and interaction between team members and other areas resolving differences and/or conflict situations effectively.

· Execute a multi-year quality improvement plan to climb the value chain from Quality Control to Quality Assurance to Excellence.

· Provide direction and assistance to the Quality Team for prioritizing inspection tasks.

· Support changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility, and assignments.

· Gather and analyze product data and use the data to lead improvement initiatives to reduce the potential for defects.

· Set quality expectations of the organization to satisfy the requirements of our customers.

· Present quality metrics and analysis regularly to senior management team and external customers.

· Develop and modify inspection sampling plans based on supplier performance. Support the resolution of supplier quality issues.

· Guide Generac sourcing, purchasing, and corporate quality personnel with the establishment of supplier expectations and objectives.

· Direct policy and procedure for inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

· Create and deploy standard Generac tools, methodologies and standards. · Ensure test/ inspection integrity (MSA/ GR&R).

· Manage audits/assessments of processes and quality systems (ISO, internal audit, etc.).
