Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Warner Robins, GA.
The C-17 MICAP Manager will lead a team which is part of a 24/7 call center (weekend, holiday or second/third shift support may be required) fulfilling exigent aircraft parts and material needs where first-time quality, rapid response and customer satisfaction are of the highest importance. You will be required to manage a team spanning 3 shifts. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is recommended but not required.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage a 24/7 call center fulfilling exigent aircraft parts and material needs where first-time quality, rapid response and customer satisfaction are of the highest importance
  • Manage employees who use systems and tools to determine part availability, alternate part or next higher assembly applications and best sourcing options to fulfill customer requirements within defined time sensitive performance parameters
  • Coordinate with the onsite C-17 Fleet Support team
  • Coordinate with senior leaders supporting the C-17 program
  • Maintain contract performance metrics and represent the team's performance in program review meetings
  • Identify supply chain gaps/issues and participate in the development & execution of recovery plans
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
  • Willing to support a 24/7 on-call environment
  • Able to work 2nd or 3rd shift when required to meet operational needs up to 25% of the time
  • 3+ years of experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • 1+ years of experience in system compliance to include of current global privacy laws and maintenance of system and quality control
  • Experience performing internal and/or external audits
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technical, supply chain or related field
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience navigating/negotiating government contracts
  • Experience with USAF Base Supply Chain activities

Summary pay range: $95,000.00 - $155,000.00
