  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with biotech, biopharma, CRO, and CDMO customers, identifying opportunities for collaboration on custom media, process development, and optimization projects.
  • Act as the technical liaison between customers and Thermo Fisher internal teams to support media selection, development, troubleshooting, and scale-up activities.
  • Collaborate with clone development firms and manufacturing partners to promote Gibco media, cell lines, and process innovation.
  • Lead joint development initiatives and in-licensing, coordinating with R&D and Bioprocessing Design Centers (BDCs) to deliver customized solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical consulting, data analysis, and application support to optimize customer processes and ensure successful implementation of Thermo Fisher products and technologies.
  • Capture and communicate the Voice of Customer (VoC) to R&D and Product Management, influencing innovation and portfolio strategy.
  • Build and manage Media Development pipeline to align technical opportunities with commercial objectives.
  • Lead contract development and negotiations, including proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Master Service Agreements (MSAs), ensuring both scientific and business objectives are met.
  • Drive project execution from early engagement through commercial success, converting technical wins into sustainable long-term partnerships.
  • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customers and internal teams to strengthen understanding of media technologies and applications.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related field) required.
