Ready to combine your knowledge of prepreg and composite materials with a customer-facing technical sales role?

A well-established international manufacturer of thermoset prepregs, advanced composites, reinforced materials, and engineered material solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to develop new customers and commercial opportunities across the United States and Canada.

This individual-contributor role is designed for a technical sales, sales engineering, application development, or business development professional with experience in prepreg materials, thermoset composite systems, or closely related advanced-material technologies. You will work with OEMs, composite fabricators, manufacturers, and material distributors to identify customer requirements, evaluate technical fit, and advance opportunities through material qualification and commercialization.

  • Build relationships with OEMs, composite fabricators, manufacturers, and material distributors.
  • Identify customer requirements and position suitable material solutions based on technical and commercial needs.
  • Manage opportunities from technical discovery and qualification through pricing, negotiation, and transition to production.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline through direct outreach, customer visits, referrals, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with technical and manufacturing teams to advance customer opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Several years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, application development, business development, or a comparable customer-facing role involving engineered materials.
  • Technical understanding of prepreg materials, thermoset composite systems, resin systems, structural composites, or closely related advanced-material technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities, develop customer relationships, and contribute to pipeline or revenue growth.
  • Experience supporting technically complex products through evaluation, testing, qualification, specification, or commercialization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50–70% throughout North America.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Target base salary around $110,000, commensurate with experience
  • Attractive performance-based variable compensation
  • 100% employer-paid medical coverage
  • Company-supported dental and vision coverage
  • Employer-paid life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance
  • Retirement plan with company match
  • 12–14 company-observed holidays annually
  • Progressive paid time off that increases with tenure
