P1 – Analyst, Transactions Management

Position Overview

JLL is seeking a Transaction Analyst to support our team for various Work Dynamics clients. This role will work in our Pittsburgh office with a minimum of 5 days in-office presence required.

About the Role

As a Transactions Analyst at JLL, you'll be at the heart of commercial real estate deal-making, supporting complex transactions that shape the future of our clients' real estate portfolios. Working within our collaborative culture, you'll conduct comprehensive financial analysis, market research, and due diligence activities that drive informed investment decisions. This role empowers you to thrive as a key contributor to our transactions team, where you'll analyze property valuations, prepare detailed financial models, and support senior professionals throughout the entire transaction lifecycle. You'll be shaping a brighter way for our clients by providing critical insights that influence multi-million dollar real estate investments, while building expertise in one of the industry's most dynamic practice areas.

As a Transaction Management Analyst, you will demonstrate high-level competence in executing small-scale and clearly defined transaction paths including renewals, subleases, and terminations for key clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive financial models and investment analysis for potential acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing opportunities
  • Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis to support transaction recommendations and client presentations
  • Prepare offering memoranda, investment summaries, and presentation materials for client meetings and marketing efforts
  • Coordinate due diligence processes, including document review, site inspections, and third-party report analysis
  • Support senior team members in client communications and transaction negotiations
  • Maintain and update transaction databases, pipeline reports, and market intelligence systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, property management, and capital markets professionals

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate, investment banking, or financial analysis
  • Having a PA Real Estate Salesperson License is necessary for this role. If you need to obtain one, you will have 6 months to do so. It will require preparation and examinations outside of business hours
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate fundamentals and investment principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Business Admin
  • Experience with real estate software (CoStar, Argus, etc.)
  • Previous internship or work experience in commercial real estate transactions
  • Professional certifications or coursework in real estate or finance

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

62,500.00 – 75,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
