Job Purpose/Overview:

VAS general labor associate supports high‑volume production operations by restacking, repacking, labeling, and assembling product displays. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent productivity, and the ability to work safely around machinery in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Restack, repack, and label boxes according to production and customer requirements
  • Assemble and build new end‑cap displays with accuracy and consistency
  • Operate efficiently on a fast‑paced production line while maintaining quality standards
  • Follow all safety procedures when working around machinery, conveyors, and automated systems
  • Identify and report issues such as packaging defects, labeling errors, or equipment jams
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked work area
  • Adapt to changing tasks, product types, and production priorities
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a coordinated team
  • Communicate with supervisors and teammates to keep workflow running smoothly
  • Meet daily attendance, punctuality, and productivity expectations
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager

  • Able to follow instructions accurately and work with minimal supervision
 
Qualifications:
  • Co-Packing or Warehouse experience is not required but preferred
  • Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred)
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database is a plus
 
Education and/or Experience Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
  • Forklift certification a plus
 
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to add, sub-tract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
 
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand; walk; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl
  • Must be able to activate phone systems utilizing keyboards and buttons
  • Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others
  • Regularly works in an indoor/office environment and required to sit and/or use repetitive hand motion
  • Frequently required to talk, hear, stand and walk
  • Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required
  • Must be able to work under stressful situations, have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time
  • Must have the ability to read and discern visual images on a variety of media with 20/20 corrected vision
  • Must be able to speak and communicate clearly over telephones
  • Must be in sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician with no evidence of the use of controlled substances
 
Work Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment will range from quiet to moderately loud
