Job Description:
This job is responsible for assisting with moderate to more complex tasks related to the credit process. Key responsibilities include assisting risk activities including, monitoring financial reporting, coordinating or resolving issues related to onboarding of clients as the first point of engagement for client teams, and supporting coordination of a systematic execution of the credit process in partnership with managers, specified teams, and operations. Job expectations include working with other Enterprise Credit associates and staying current on the bank's policies, procedures, and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Engages with team members to support partnership with teams to manage the bank's portfolio via monitoring financial package collection, maturities, annual reviews/financial analysis summaries, past due payments, and failed covenants
  • Assists in resolving client needs for more complex issues such as ordering pay-off letters
  • Assists in risk management by clearing collateral exceptions to reduce the bank's legally binding exposure
  • Coordinates activities for accurate and timely deals through engaging outside counsel to prepare loan documentation, assisting with the completion of pre-close checklists, and connecting with fulfillment to book facilities in the system of record
  • Support and assist Credit Officers daily in the management of their portfolios, including the review of global credit facilities.
  • Creation of credit approval documents for new, renewed and amended loan, trading and GTS facilities, and their processing through the bank systems of record.
  • Review approved credit approval documents to ensure compliance with bank policy and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve facility data discrepancies.
  • Respond to inquiries from credit officers and other business partners. Investigate and resolve incoming queries relating to the portfolio.
  • Monitor and resolve facility document exceptions.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor credit and financial events and manage exceptions. 
  • Maintain accurate document records.
  • Help simplify and improve our processes – active discussion

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in Commercial and Wholesale credit lending and portfolio management support
  • Credit Guidelines and lending procedures
  • Underwriting systems
  • Credit documentation verification
  • Commercial Lending and Commercial products
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Institutional banking experience and knowledge of lending products an advantage
  • Oriented with proficiency in all Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$28.13 - $47.71 hourly pay, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
