#5. $2.8 million, February 4
Obie offers a free cloud-based commercial real estate platform. Investors included Y Combinator, MetaProp, FundersClub, Liquid 2, Soma Capital and more. With the funds, it’ll continue its growth, build out staff, and strengthen its feature set.
#4. $5.5 million, February 21
Its platform for event photos aims to inspire people planning events. Great North Labs led the Series A funding. The woman-founded company started in 2015.
#3. $8 million, February 11
The cloud management startup helps managed service providers get onto the cloud easily, without having to build a deep knowledge of the technology. The Series A round allows it to expand internationally and develop its product.
#2. $17 million, February 5
Its chain of tech-enabled convenience stores use a mix of physical locations and e-commerce to serve its customers. Imaginary and Wittington Ventures led the funding round. With the investment, it'll grow the team and add some new partners.
#1. $30 million, February 24
HealthJoy, a startup that helps to simplify the healthcare decision-making process for employees, took the top spot this month. The Series C round allows it to continue its expansion. It wants to add 200 more employees in its River North office by 2021, as well as develop new services and integrate further with partners.
