Manage a multidisciplinary engineering group to develop advanced fluid power and electronic control systems for equipment and vehicle automation/electrification. Define system strategy and technology roadmap, lead technology transfer with Germany, ensure commercial and production readiness, support sales and customers, create standards, provide VoC and training, and oversee development from requirements through testing and installation.

Perform periodic financial reporting, forecasting, cost accounting, and FP&A for manufacturing divisions. Build financial models and visualizations using SAP, BW, Vena, Excel, and Power BI. Investigate variances, support business teams, and deliver ad-hoc analyses and presentations to drive performance and policy improvements.

Provide technical support for assigned product lines by liaising with customers, sales, and German counterparts; develop product knowledge and training; prepare price quotations and analyses; maintain price lists/literature; generate reports in SAP; participate in continuous improvement and other assigned duties. Frequent travel required.

Design, commission, and optimize CNC manufacturing and assembly processes for new product introductions. Support the shop floor, develop tooling, layouts, and manufacturing cells, establish product acceptance criteria, coordinate vendors, and assist quality and materials teams to meet cost and productivity targets.

Drive sales and grow assigned accounts for mobile hydraulics by maintaining customer relationships, implementing sales strategy, updating CRM, setting targets, traveling to customers, delivering presentations, resolving customer needs, monitoring competitors, and participating in sales and marketing activities.

Serve as liaison between customers, sales, and global product divisions to provide technical and commercial support. Manage quotations, pricing, SAP reporting, product documentation, training, and continuous improvement while coordinating with international teams and supporting sales operations.

Lead and execute Lean continuous improvement projects across the Schaumburg manufacturing campus. Define KPIs, analyze processes, lead cross-functional teams, train staff on CI tools, track progress, recommend automation, and promote safety programs and cultural change to increase operational efficiency and reduce waste.

Support application designs for cartridge valves, manifolds and directional controls. Manage new application projects, coordinate with design and operations, write specs, provide technical training and sales/marketing support, evaluate vendor bids, and maintain manufacturing processes.

Support business and sales for mobile hydraulic solutions by aiding application engineering and field sales, handling quotations and pricing, training distributors and sales staff, recommending products and stock levels, developing product literature and presentations, and maintaining customer relationships. Role requires strong customer service, travel ~30-40%, and is based in-office in Schaumburg, IL.

Plan, direct, coordinate and control shop-floor activities; place and train personnel; promote safety, 6S and team building; assist with equipment maintenance; collect and report daily production data; resolve department issues and ensure company policies are followed.

Lead development and integration of vehicle-level electrohydraulic and electronic control systems. Capture customer requirements, propose system architectures, perform system FMEAs and functional safety analysis, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to design, install, debug, and validate advanced vehicle systems, and support sales and product divisions with technical proposals and VoC.

Design and develop hydraulic cartridge valves and related components; produce customer and manufacturing drawings, test procedures, and work instructions; validate prototypes in the engineering lab; develop test specifications and maintain engineering documentation; collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve manufacturing, design, and quality issues.
