As an Associate Account Manager (AAM) within HUB International’s Professional and Executive Risk (ProEx) Practice, you will play a vital role in supporting the management and service of a defined book of business within the Management Liability, Cyber, and Professional Liability lines. In this early-career, professional-level role, you will be entrusted with coordinating complex servicing tasks independently, applying sound judgment and attention to detail as you support client renewals and midterm needs. 
 
The Associate Account Manager serves as a key contributor in ensuring a seamless client experience and are expected to manage their responsibilities with autonomy, escalate issues when appropriate, and grow their understanding of the industry through active learning and professional development. 

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage assigned servicing responsibilities for a designated group of accounts, including timeline oversight and proactive coordination with clients, producers, and underwriters. 

  • Initiate and manage the renewal process by preparing and distributing applications, tracking responses, and coordinating necessary follow-ups to maintain schedule integrity. 

  • Exercise judgment in identifying incomplete or inaccurate materials, resolving discrepancies with clients and carriers, and escalating time-sensitive issues when necessary. 

  • Oversee post-renewal deliverables, including reviewing and comparing binders and policies, completing policy checklists, and ensuring all documentation is properly filed in EPIC. 

  • Deliver accurate and timely information to clients, producers, and internal teams, including invoicing coordination with the Financial Transaction Unit and transmittal of policies. 

  • Respond to client and underwriter questions regarding forms, documentation, or processes, using a foundational understanding of ProEx lines to offer helpful and professional support. 

  • Maintain internal systems such as EPIC and master lists to reflect accurate and current information across all assigned accounts. 

  • Coordinate and fulfill mid-term client service requests such as certificates of insurance, loss runs, policy amendments, and compliance-related updates. 

  • Participate in training, carrier meetings, and industry webinars to build product knowledge and strengthen client service capabilities. 

  • Support internal projects to improve processes or deliver insights on emerging issues, including data analysis, presentation support, or procedure documentation. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • Property and Casualty producer’s license or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire 

  • Proficient with standard office computer tools; i.e. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. 

  • Ability to work in a positive team environment and independently  

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing deadlines 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems such as EPIC 

  • Professionalism, critical thinking, and attention to detail 

  • Desire to grow and build a long-term career in the insurance industry
