Job Description

Reporting to Avigilon’s Regional Sales Director, the Channel Sales Executive acts as the primary strategic catalyst for all video security solution sales initiatives within the assigned territory. In this role, you will proactively cultivate relationships with Avigilon Channel Partners, deploying targeted sales actions to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.


As part of Motorola Solutions, you will work within a people-first culture where you can innovate what’s next and pursue your passion and potential. You will position yourself as a "Trusted Advisor" to both end users and channel partners, bridging public and private security needs to deliver mission-critical solutions. Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Channel Management

  • Opportunity Generation to develop new end-user business fulfilled through our trusted partner channel.
  • Quota Achievement to meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and project quotas for Avigilon products and services.
  • Relationship Building to attain "Trusted Advisor" status with channel partners and end-user accounts to accelerate system deployment.

Pipeline Management & Prospecting

  • Sales Execution to conduct daily prospecting, schedule local promotional initiatives, and manage a healthy sales funnel.
  • Revenue Forecasting to deliver accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • CRM Governance to maintain pristine account data and track all sales activities within CRM platforms.

Solution Architecture & Field Strategy

  • Technical Solution Sales to lead video and analytics solution development that addresses specific end-user challenges while coordinating necessary internal and partner resources.
  • Event Engagement to collaborate with vertical marketing teams to identify engagement opportunities through trade shows, industry conferences, and associations.
  • Territory Coverage to execute weekly travel throughout the assigned territory (~50% travel) to strengthen partner alignment and account growth.


Job Requirements


Technical Expertise

  • Video Security Expertise to articulate features, capabilities, and value propositions of advanced video security and analytics solutions.
  • Technical Acumen to present and demonstrate complex software platforms and hardware solutions confidently to key stakeholders.
  • Software Proficiency to utilize Microsoft Apps, Google Apps (especially Excel/Sheets), and CRM platforms effectively for tracking and analysis.

Professional Experience

  • Channel Strategy Execution to drive go-to-market initiatives, foster collaborative relationships, and align sales actions with channel partner goals.
  • Accurate Sales Forecasting to manage pipeline analytics and consistently report reliable revenue metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Executive Presentation Skills to deliver compelling product demonstrations and high-impact sales presentations to executive decision-makers.
  • Territory Management to prioritize multiple sales actions in a fast-paced environment and execute weekly regional travel (~50%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of customer-interfacing experience.
  • Established client base and active network within the Cleveland, OH territory.

Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 USD
