Join our expanding Global IT team as a hands-on Cognos Developer/Administrator/Report Author, where you’ll have the opportunity to shape, optimize, and elevate our Cognos 11 platform. In this role, you won’t just maintain reports—you’ll drive innovation, enhance performance, and play a key part in advancing our organization’s reporting capabilities worldwide.

What You’ll do: 

  • Lead efforts to consolidate redundant reporting and develop enhanced, scalable reporting solutions supporting multiple business functions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams in an iterative, agile manner to gather requirements, validate data accuracy, and deliver actionable reporting solutions.
  • Administer and support the IBM Cognos 11 platform, including Report Studio and Data Manager components.
  • Ensure optimal system performance and availability of Cognos portals, resolve production issues and support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Perform data modeling and package development within Data Manager.

What You’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.  
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM Cognos 11 environments, including installation, upgrades, and server maintenance.
  • 5+ years supporting complex enterprise BI environments using Cognos 11 (Framework Manager, Transformer, Query Studio, Report Studio, and Analysis Studio).
  • Strong SQL skills, including experience with stored procedures, views, and triggers.  
  • Experience with additional BI tools such as Power BI and SSRS is a plus.
  • Advanced report development experience using Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio, Active Reports, and Business Insight Advanced.

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000 USD.  Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.  In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
