The Coordinator: Intake and Conflicts processes conflict of interest searches timely and accurately, following very detailed search rules, process documentation and instructions from Intake Analysts.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: 

  • Runs conflict searches on the Firm’s internal conflicts database to create a conflict report for review by Conflict Lawyers
  • Completes daily search assignments on time, producing high quality conflict reports while using appropriate judgement to filter data to be included in results
  • Handles highly sensitive and confidential search requests
  • Participates in ongoing training on business intake applications, rules and processes as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes

Education/Training/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Professional Experience:

  • Previous law firm experience helpful

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm
  • Exercises solid strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting priorities
  • Must be a self-starter with a high level of initiative
  • Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail and to carefully follow instructions and adhere to established procedures is critical
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the Firm
  • Strong customer service skills, able to anticipate needs

Posted Pay RangeThe typical pay scale for this position is between USD $60,000.00/Yr. and USD $78,000.00/Yr., although the actual wage or salary could be lower or higher if the candidate's education, experience, skills and internal pay alignment are different from those specified.
