Job Overview

The Data Analyst, Marketing, will play a critical role in delivering actionable insights to our Restaurants team. This position supports effective decision making and strategic planning through clear reporting, in depth ad-hoc analysis, and strong communication skills.

The Data Analyst will sit at the crossroads of Marketing, FP&A, Data Science, and Data Architecture, helping translate complex business and customer data into insights that drive transformational business value.

The ideal candidate combines a strong sense of curiosity with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. This role is well suited for an analytical problem-solver who can move beyond reporting to uncover insights, challenge assumptions, and help shape strategies that improve customer value and business performance.

 This is a hybrid position and requires in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday each week in Chicago.

What you’ll bring to the table: (Responsibilities) 
  • Discover new customer insights and trends related to our restaurant customer base
  • Translate complex data into actionable customer insights that afford the improvement and creation of go-to-market materials, processes, and presentations for our distribution teams
  • Partner with cross-functional and customer-focused teams to gather customer insights, understand their needs, identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends to better serve customers
  • Create, prepare, report, and communicate monthly and quarterly reports for senior management that translate analytical findings into business actions
  • Collaborate with data science, data, marketing, products, to create meaningful value for our restaurant customers`
Do you have the right mix of ingredients: (Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, data analytics or financial analysis.

Education, Certifications and Experience: Preferred

  • Master of Science in Computer Science or Business Analytics

  • This is a full-time, exempt position and the base compensation for this opening in Chicago is expected to be $80,000-$95,000 annualized, depending on level, candidate experience, skills, and other factors. This position will be eligible for an annual bonus program with a 7.5% bonus target for total at target of $86,000-$102,125.
