The Director, Enterprise Performance & Analytics partners with Finance leadership, the Executive Leadership Team, and business leaders to develop and execute the Company's Enterprise Performance & Analytics strategy. This role leads Business Intelligence, enterprise reporting, KPI governance, executive dashboards, and data-driven decision support, and partners with Information Technology to establish enterprise data standards and a single source of truth for strategic and operational decision-making. This role reports to Finance department leadership and holds supervisory responsibility for Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Analytics personnel.
Essential Functions
- Lead development and execution of the Company's Enterprise Performance & Analytics roadmap, aligned with corporate strategy and long-range value creation objectives.
- Develop and maintain enterprise dashboards and scorecards for Executive Leadership, Board reporting, and Monthly Operating Reviews.
- Establish enterprise KPI governance, including metric definitions, ownership, and reporting standards.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to Executive Leadership, Finance, Operations, Sales, Human Resources, and Information Technology by delivering actionable insights that improve enterprise performance.
- Lead the Company's Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence initiatives using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and related analytical technologies.
- Develop scalable self-service reporting capabilities across the organization.
- Partner with FP&A to improve forecasting, long-range planning, and performance analysis.
- Support capital investment analysis, operational initiatives, and strategic planning through advanced analytics.
- Drive reporting automation and identify opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics to improve efficiency, decision-making, and shareholder value.
- Partner with Information Technology to improve enterprise data governance, master data management, and reporting architecture.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Enterprise Performance & Analytics personnel while driving enterprise adoption of KPI governance, reporting standards, and data-driven decision-making across all functional areas.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, integration activities, and strategic initiatives through advanced analytics and executive performance reporting.
- Support Executive Leadership and Private Equity stakeholders through development of Board reporting, value creation metrics, and enterprise performance analytics.
- Evaluate emerging analytics technologies and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain knowledge of Business Intelligence, artificial intelligence, and analytics/reporting best practices, and continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting quality and automation.
- Participate in benchmarking initiatives supporting operational excellence and enterprise performance management.
- Willingness to travel Periodically to Company locations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by senior management.
Education & Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Performance Management, or Data Analytics OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 10 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Intelligence, Experience building enterprise reporting capabilities and leading cross-functional transformation initiatives
- Experience presenting to and communicating recommendations, insights, and findings to senior management
- Strong business intelligence, data visualization, and data storytelling skills
- Strong financial and operational acumen
- Experience identifying issues, recommending, and implementing strategies to resolve problems. Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
- Experience managing change
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Advanced skill-level in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
- Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced skill-level in SQL and data modeling
- Experience with executive dashboard development and KPI design
- Experience with AI-enabled analytics, Microsoft Copilot, semantic models, and reporting automation enterprise Performance Management, or Data Analytics
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. The position routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, and other office technology. The role may require prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer and keyboard, and occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, or lifting of items weighing up to 15 pounds.
