Ciklum is looking for a Director, Experience (Product Management) to join our team full-time in the US.

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled, delivery- or product-focused Senior Product Consultant based onshore in the US.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex financial services strategy and modern technological execution. You will leverage your deep domain expertise in retail/commercial banking, core banking modernization, and payment ecosystems to drive large-scale digital transformations.

As a modern practitioner, you will not only navigate strict regulatory environments with ease but also champion the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to augment product delivery, automate workflows, and accelerate time-to-market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Transformation Initiatives: Own or drive the end-to-end delivery and product lifecycle for complex banking and Financial Services (FS) transformation initiatives
  • Requirements & Roadmap Management
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, compliance/legal teams, and engineering squads to ensure seamless, high-quality deployment
  • Payments & Fintech Innovation: Architect or define modern payment workflows (e.g., Real-Time Payments/RTP, FedNow, Interac, ISO 20022 standards, cross-border payments). Legacy payment gateway experience will be considered a plus
  • Guide clients or internal teams through the nuances of modern core banking platforms, cloud-native FS architectures, and open banking API frameworks. Experience working to move from legacy to modern cloud or on prem technologies would be considered a plus
  • Regulatory Navigation: Ensure all delivery and product discovery methodologies comply with strict US/Canadian regulatory standards (e.g., OCC, Fed, FinCEN, OSFI, FCAC)
  • Supercharge Execution: Actively utilize and experiment with Generative AI and LLM tools to optimize traditional product/delivery artifacts (e.g., writing PRDs, drafting user stories, analyzing data, mapping process flows)
  • Efficiency Champion: Look for opportunities to introduce AI-driven efficiencies into the delivery lifecycle to reduce overhead and accelerate project timelines
  • Agile by Nature: Used to working with consultants/experience practitioners

Requirements:

  • Location: Must be legally authorized to work and based onshore in the United States
  • Minimum of 5–8+ years of experience within Management Consulting, Fintechs, or Tier-1/2 Banking institutions
  • Demonstrable experience leading or contributing significantly to large-scale banking transformation, migration, or greenfield build projects
  • Deep understanding of Core Banking, Digital Banking, and/or Wealth Management ecosystems
Strong grasp of Payments infrastructure (ACH, Wires, Card rails, Next-Gen/Real-Time payments)
  • Comfortable operating within highly regulated environments, with a strong understanding of risk management, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Proficiency in modern product/project management suites (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Linear, Miro)
  • Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or specialized PM/Dev AI extensions) to enhance your own daily output and delivery workflows
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills—capable of explaining complex tech to business leaders and complex business needs to engineers
Sales/Pre-sales exposure and acumen is essential
  • You don't say "that's a project manager's job" or "that's a product manager's job." You care about outcomes and do what it takes to ship high-quality financial software
  • You know how to balance the slow-moving, risk-averse realities of banking compliance with the fast-moving world of modern tech and AI

What’s in it for you?

  • Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment
  • Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise
  • Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications
  • Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies
  • Care: Healthcare, Basic Life Insurance, Short and Long-term disability insurance according to the Company’s Benefit Plans

About us:

At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter. With us, you’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to impactful projects, and be part of a One Team culture that values collaboration and progress. In the US, Ciklum is growing fast—inviting experienced professionals to lead digital transformation alongside Fortune 500 clients. Be part of a company where innovation and impact go hand in hand.

Explore, empower, engineer with Ciklum!
