Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Services, is looking for an Experienced Quality Production Specialist (FAI) to join our team in Enfield, CT.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead and train employees on the First Article Inspection, Lab Controlled at Source, Outbound/Inbound Inspection, and Non-Conformance processes.
  • Disposition and control of non-conforming products.
  • Review and approval of First Articles from suppliers.
  • Perform First Articles for submission to customers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of related quality experience
  • 3+ years of experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection
  • 3+ years of experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102
  • 4+ years' experience reading and interpret blueprints
  • Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • GD&T Skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
  • Previous aerospace inspection experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Summary pay range: $74,000.00 - $105,000.00
