About the role:

As Head of Solutions at Sardine, you'll own every technical team that stands between a signed contract and a customer who's actually live and successful. Just before a contract is signed, Integration Engineering works with our customers to scope the integration and then over the next several months, gets them live onto our platform. Support engineering helps keep our clients satisfied whenever any issues arise. You'll bring these teams together under one set of standards and one bar for quality, scaling an organization that's growing fast.

This is a 20-person org spanning both technical ICs and managers. You'll work alongside strong technical leads who are ready to grow into the next level of people leadership, and you'll need to be technical enough to help guide strategic decisions, team planning, and training as you coach them there. This role is as much about developing leaders as it is about the technology itself.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own Integration and Support engineering, roughly 20 people across three functions

  • Build out the playbooks, onboarding, best practices, and SLAs that will let this organization scale smoothly as it grows

  • Coach and develop technical leads, helping them grow their teams and their own leadership range

  • Get hands-on with scoping and contract structuring where deals need real technical judgment, not just a demo

  • Partner with Sales and Account Management leadership so solutions work actively drives cross-sell, upsell, and net revenue retention

  • Partner with our POC team that includes Data Scientists to help drive POCs to a success

  • Bring deep product fluency so you can guide the team through scoping, delivery, and people challenges alike

What you'll need:

  • Experience leading large technical teams (20+) in B2B SaaS, including building out the management layer beneath you

  • Domain experience in financial services, fraud, risk, compliance, or banking

  • Deep technical and product expertise — enough to guide strategic decisions, contribute to team planning and training, and be credible on integration complexity and scoping

  • A track record of building operational rigor — playbooks, SLAs, structured processes — as organizations scale

  • Experience scaling a team through a period of rapid growth

  • Strong coaching instincts — you can take a talented, fast-rising leader and help them grow

  • Comfort leading through growth and change, joining a team that's evolving quickly

Bonus Points:

  • Experience spanning both pre-sales (sales engineering/solutions consulting) and post-sales (implementation/professional services) motions

  • Familiarity with fintech more broadly, even outside fraud/compliance specifically
