GTM Engineer, Pre-Sales

Reports to: SVP, Customer Success & Operations

Location: Remote (US), occasional onsites

Build the operating systems behind how Sales operates.

As GTM Engineer, Pre-Sales, you'll own the technology that powers how prospects become customers. Working closely with the Lead GTM Engineer, you'll build the pre-sales technology layer while contributing to the shared architecture that supports the entire customer lifecycle.

From lead routing and account assignment to buying signals, pipeline automation, and AI-assisted selling, you'll build the systems that remove friction from the sales process and help teams spend more time with customers and less time managing technology.

You'll partner directly with Sales, Marketing, and Operations leaders to identify opportunities, prioritize the highest-impact work, and build solutions that become part of how the business operates every day.

What you'll do

  • Build the sales operating platform. Design the automation, workflows, and AI capabilities that manage lead routing, enrichment, account assignment, territory management, and pipeline progression across the sales lifecycle.

  • Improve seller productivity. You'll partner directly with Sales, Marketing, and Operations leaders to identify operational bottlenecks, prioritize opportunities, and deliver solutions that become part of how the business operates every day.

  • Build revenue intelligence. Develop signal intelligence, scoring models, and next-best-action capabilities that help teams prioritize opportunities and engage buyers more effectively.

  • Connect the technology stack. Design and maintain integrations across Salesforce, marketing automation, AI platforms, data providers, and sales engagement tools to ensure information flows reliably throughout the revenue engine.

  • Advance AI capabilities. Evaluate emerging sales technologies, operationalize successful pilots, and help define where AI creates meaningful leverage across the pre-sales organization.

Who you are?

  • 3–7 years in GTM Engineering, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Solutions Engineering, or a similar technical operations role.

  • Comfortable working with APIs, automation platforms, AI technologies, Salesforce, and modern data tools.

  • Experience building automation and internal tooling that improves seller productivity.

  • Strong systems thinker who enjoys simplifying complex operational processes.

  • Comfortable partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Operations leaders to turn business problems into scalable technical solutions.

  • Curious about emerging AI capabilities and pragmatic about where they create measurable value.

Why this role matters

You'll join a newly formed GTM Engineering function responsible for modernizing how ECI operates. Working alongside the Lead GTM Engineer, you'll help establish the technology foundation behind our go-to-market organization while building solutions that sales teams rely on every day.
