We are ready to hire a dedicated, warm, and approachable HR Director to help scale the human capital function and build for future growth. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for building a talent management framework to support the engagement, retention, and growth of our managers and employees. You will design and roll out diversity and inclusion programs across a complex global organization.
You will strike a balance between being an effective operator and an executor, helping to build our people business partner strategy, while providing hands-on support to the business.
As our successful candidate, this role will specifically require you to:
- Support Envoy’s culture by ensuring that HR practices are aligned with company objectives, facilitating and coordinating effective communications, fostering a positive environment that recognizes accomplishments, and measures success
- Act as a strategic HR business partner to assigned business units and is responsible for balancing the needs of the groups with those of the overall organization
- Help implement effective programs, processes and HR policies for the organization through the full employee lifecycle.
- Build and implement annual talent processes including performance management, and talent planning
- Implement Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s) as a form of performance management within the business
- Reinforce follow-up on development plans and actions
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies and culture change initiatives in partnership with the HR team and business leaders
- Identify leadership and organizational development needs and create programs to help our managers and teams grow
- Partner with the Chief People Officer, Director of Talent Acquisition, and DEI committee to integrate diversity and inclusion best practices into business processes, policies and norms
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Partner with HR Generalist and HR Business Partner to ensure all people-related practices are compliant
- Act as an organizational design coach and plays a key role in shaping the future of the organization by developing and implementing organizational design strategies
- Implement an HR Business Partner program to support the growth of our business and establish HR as a true Partner within the business (as dictated by the business)
- Ensure Quarterly Performance and Talent Calibration Sessions – assess the viability of existing processes and internal tools by analyzing key data to drive incremental improvement. This would include but not be limited to changes in behavior/ratings e.g. looking at organizational/team/individual/DEI trends, etc.
- Coach and partner with the Chief People Officer and leadership team to communicate organizational design and change management
- Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to align on current and future talent needs
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years in a human resources generalist/business partner/leadership role
- Global HR experience - highly desirable
- Significant experience partnering and collaborating with executive leadership team
- Up-to-date knowledge and experience with Employee Relations (at employee and executive level)
- Experience utilizing and implementing Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s) as a form of performance management
- Demonstrated experience developing or implementing talent management programs
- Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures and demonstrated interest or experience with progressive HR
- Strong leadership and change management, or organizational development skills
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and trusting relationships with staff at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and team management skills
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- You thoroughly enjoy working in a fun, agile, fast-paced, team environment
