About us

At Roadrunner, we’re replacing the broken CPQ software that Sales teams have complained about, worked around, and given up on for years. Not improving it - replacing it. We’re building a new agentic stack called PQA - Prompt, Quote, Approve, designed for the enterprise, on a data model built for how pricing actually works today.

We’re Kleiner Perkins’ first incubation since Glean, led by second-time founders with successful exits, and a team of engineers from Snowflake, Databricks, Citadel, Meta, Robinhood, Brex, and so on. We’re in-person in San Francisco, and we’re just getting started.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver multiple moderately complex to complex solutions.

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Roadrunner implementation engagements.

  • Monitor project quality, financials, risk, and overall delivery performance.

  • Ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.

  • Manage project plans across multiple concurrent engagements.

  • Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, including C-level leaders.

  • Drive product adoption by aligning implementations to business goals and innovation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Example projects
  • Lead a POC with a mid-market manufacturing company to demonstrate how Roadrunner’s PQA layer integrates with Salesforce and NetSuite, including live pricing rules, approval workflows, and order synchronization, from kickoff to a working demo in two weeks.

  • Own the technical workstream for a global SaaS customer’s implementation: map their existing quoting process, design the data model migration from legacy CPQ, and coordinate API integration with their internal engineering team.

What you’ll bring
  • Experience in solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting with a track record of owning complex enterprise deals or implementations end-to-end.

  • Comfort engaging both technical teams and executive stakeholders, including CIOs, RevOps leaders, and CAOs.

  • Hands-on familiarity with CPQ and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CPQ, HubSpot), and a strong understanding of enterprise quoting, pricing, and approval workflows.

  • Working knowledge of ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and how they integrate with the broader revenue stack, including order management, billing, and revenue recognition.

  • Proven experience delivering quote-to-cash programs.

  • Strong communication skills - able to translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for business audiences and vice versa.

  • Willingness to spend time in San Francisco during onboarding and travel as needed.

Bonus points if…
  • You’ve sold or implemented CPQ specifically - you understand the pain points firsthand and can meet customers where they are.

  • You’re comfortable with data modeling and can dig into pricing, etc. data schemas without needing a hand-hold from engineering.

  • You've been at an early-stage company and know what full ownership of end-to-end delivery actually feels like.

What we offer
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family.

  • Lunch and dinner, as well as snacks and coffee to keep you energized.

  • Take what you need vacation policy.
