Job Description

The Infrastructure Operations Lead is responsible for planning, organizing  and supporting IT operations to ensure the stability of the corporate IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, cloud hosted solutions and data communications. The Infrastructure Operations Lead will also schedule and direct activities to resolve system problems in a timely and accurate fashion

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years’ experience managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
  • Extensive experience with VMWare and converged infrastructures.
  • 4 years successful supervisory experience of an infrastructure team.
  • Experience managing support for hosted solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware. 
  • Conversant with programming languages such as .NET.
  • Application support experience with MS Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Office suite.
  • Four-year university degree in the field of computer science and/or 6-8 years equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications in MS Operating Systems, VMWare and Cisco networking preferred.
