Essential Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to drive enterprise-wide agile mindset by partnering with leaders, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Agile coach and stakeholders. Continue improvement and drive agile best practices, identify inefficiencies, lead and implement solutions.
  • Partner with leaders to mentor scrum masters, elevate the Agile Center of Excellence, promote across domains. Conduct agile maturity assessments, lead improvements, identify inefficiencies, lead solutions, develop agile standards and drive adoption of best practices at scale.
  • Align business units with enterprise transformation goals by escalating and resolving program-level impediments, risks, and blockers to support delivery performance sustainably.
  • Partner with stakeholders to eliminate silos and enable cross-functional teamwork, Objective and Key Results (OKRs) and resolve cross-team dependencies.
  • Lead agile ceremonies, such as PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, Scrum of Scrums. Provide statistics, identify project dependencies, team capacity, velocity forecasts, burndowns and burn-ups, dashboards, and program board updates.
  • Partner with product and program management to drive decisions based on team capacity, delivery progress, and backlog health. Improve PI readiness and implement agile maturity indicators.
  • Coach and collaborate with teams to maximize ROI and achieve PI objectives and support planning to ensure alignment and milestone delivery.
  • Partner with technology and business leaders to identify process gaps, optimize outputs to drive data decisions. Promote Agile adoption through coaching, key ceremonies, and metric-based process improvements.
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the agile teams using various tools, such as Kanban, ADO, the Program Board, team Measure & Grow metrics and other information radiators.
  • Assess and enhance value stream flow to improve agile practices related to DevOps and Release on Demand within the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
  • Partner with systems teams to maintain Agile tools and ensure business units support transparency, flow and deliver to business OKRs/priorities.
  • Maintain alignment, tagging, completion, reporting and oversight of backlog items (stories/features) in Azure DevOps (ADO) to maximize project and program transparency and ensure timely program adjustments.

Education & Years of Experience

  • Minimum- 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related
  • Minimum - 7 Years Scrum Master, Software Development or Related
  • Preferred - 3 Years Scrum Master, Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban or Related
  • Preferred - 1 Year Leadership/Mentorship Role

In Lieu of Education

  • 10 Years Scrum Master, Agile practices, Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban, Software development, or Related

License/Certifications/Training

  • Preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or related 
  • Preferred: Advanced Certified-Scrum Master (A-CSM)
  • Preferred: Scrum Professional - Product Owner (CSP-PO) or related
  • Preferred: SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or related
  • Preferred: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or related

Compensation & Benefits:

Typical hiring range:‏‏‎ ‎ $92,600.00 to $144,100.00‎ Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
