Job Summary:

Methode Electronics is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Corporate Law summer intern to support our corporate legal team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and due diligence while working closely with experienced legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing corporate documents, including contracts, licenses and policies
  • Conduct research on corporate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Support due diligence processes for corporate transactions
  • Perform general administrative and legal support tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with the intention to pursue a law degree (rising junior or senior preferred)
  • Interest in corporate law, commercial law, or business law
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $24-26/hr.

Note: Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a permanent basis post-graduation.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
