Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join the Boeing Salt Lake Fabrication team in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage manufacturing teams to achieve production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, workflows, and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with Boeing's safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support product development and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to reduce waste and improve processes.
  • Manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Oversee training and development of manufacturing personnel to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and customer requirements, including FAA and other aerospace standards.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis for manufacturing defects or delays.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Able and willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing standards and certifications
  • Familiarity with Boeing production systems and tools
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all level
  • Proficiency with manufacturing software, CMES, ADPP, Excell
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $118,000 - $144,000
