- Provides expertise in EHS safety disciplines
- Performs responsibilities requiring the integration of disciplines from more than one environmental, health and safety job family and applies independent, specialized technical expertise to support a wide range of business objectives
- Responsible for assisting, tracking, and measuring projects devised to address safety issues
- Partner with site leadership on the daily execution of the Safety and Environmental Management Systems
- Managing and compiling data from multiple outputs to present to leadership
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3-5+ years of experience (OR a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience) in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and manufacturing support
- Strong communication skills; aligning senior leadership on strategic objectives while effectively coaching frontline teams to execute them
- Experience with RCCA process, can prepare a business case, process improvements
- Strong listening skills and a willingness to learn
- Expertise in scheduling development activities by project, appropriate to project scope, and proven ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously (coordination, status, and performance to plan).
- Activities include the development, integration, implementation, and execution of site EHS strategies aligned to the global company vision.
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and data management skills, with proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Smartsheet
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Occupational safety or equivalent
- 5-10 years of professional experience pertaining to the skills identified is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, innovative behaviors, and the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
