We are currently seeking a Private Client Placement Coordinator to join our inside sales team. This role plays a vital part in the placement of personal insurance risks, working closely with Producers to expand new business growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, enjoys collaborating with carrier partners, and is committed to continuous learning and professional development – particularly in the high-net-worth insurance space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver courteous, high-quality service to clients, carriers, and HUB colleagues throughout the placement process.

  • Assess client risk profiles and develop targeted market approaches based on carrier appetite, ensuring optimal coverage solutions tailored to client needs.

  • Collaborate with Producers to manage new business placement, marketing strategy, and carrier negotiations in accordance with HUB best practices.

  • Manage all internal processing related to new business, including policy issuance and onboarding clients with HUB.

  • Take on increasingly complex personal risks with growing independence, while continuing to build technical knowledge and market insight.

  • Manage workload independently, with accountability for deadlines, priorities, and high-level service standards.

  • Provide backup support to other team members as needed; mentor, support, and help train new support staff.

  • Actively contribute to the team’s production goals through timely execution, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a professional office environment; prior exposure to insurance, financial services, or other client-facing roles is a plus.

  • Foundational understanding of personal risk products, markets, and insurance carrier capabilities.

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of personal insurance products, including those tailored to complex risks and affluent individuals.

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Interest in personal insurance and motivation to develop expertise in high-net-worth risk management.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

  • Active Property & Casualty license required (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages: health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits such as vacation, sick, and personal days, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
