About the Team:

The Financial Data team at AlphaSense is responsible for delivering the data foundation that powers our industry-leading market intelligence platform. We focus on sourcing, integrating, and surfacing structured datasets that enable clients to discover and act on insights in new ways. Our team is dedicated to delivering these datasets directly into our clients' most critical workflows.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Product Manager to own and define the next generation of our financial data offerings, with a specific emphasis on Private Markets, including Shareholder + Deals content. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of our vast financial datasets and the end-user's core research and diligence workflows. You will drive the roadmap for how users discover, evaluate, and act on Private Markets Content, defining the content strategy and feature set that makes this content an indispensable input for financial professionals — including identifying and closing content gaps, and driving adoption and usage across the client base.

You'll partner closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define requirements, author PRDs, and lead the development of new features.

Who You Are:

  • An experienced Product Manager with a minimum of 2 years of experience building SaaS products in partnership with engineering and scrum teams.
  • Experienced in financial data and search products.
  • A clear, persuasive communicator who creates PRDs, roadmaps, and requirements that align stakeholders and drive execution.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage a complex product backlog and deliver features end-to-end.
  • A strategic thinker with a discovery mindset, deeply curious about client workflows and pain points, especially those of financial analysts, investment bankers, and corporate development/deal teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered search or workflow technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field required.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and execute the short- and mid-term roadmaps for AlphaSense's private markets, shareholder, and deals content, aligning with business objectives and client needs.
  • Contribute to the long-term Financial Data vision by building a deep understanding of client personas (e.g., analysts, bankers, corporate development professionals) and their diligence, deal-sourcing, and ownership-analysis use cases.
  • Continuously assess content gaps across private markets, shareholder, and deals data, and prioritize sourcing and coverage improvements to close them.
  • Write and prioritize product requirements (PRDs) informed by customer discovery and client feedback, specifically related to content coverage, data quality, and discoverability of vendor, shareholder, and deals content.
Work with core data platform teams to ensure seamless data delivery, sourcing pipeline performance, and reliability for vendor, shareholder, and deals content.
  • Identify and conduct QA strategies for content coverage, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and GTM teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption of new content and feature releases.
