About the job
Tock is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Associate to add to our growing team. In this role, you will be supporting Business Development Managers and working directly with enterprise customers to get them live on Tock’s platform. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for gathering implementation requirements, building the customer’s Tock site, training, and post go-live follow up to ensure a seamless and successful onboarding experience.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of being detail oriented, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and is excited about working in a startup environment in the hospitality industry.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least 1-2 years of account management/customer service in B2B software (SaaS preferred)
- Must be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills
- Experience analyzing data and presenting results
- Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
- Experience using Salesforce and G Suite
What you’ll do
- Assist with multiple implementations, while maintaining on-time deliverables
- Develop and maintain new customer project plans
- Partner with Business Development Managers on customer calls and related follow-up
- Play an integral role in transitioning customers from implementation to launch
- Monitor customer success, identify any risks, and present solutions
- Organize, investigate, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct periodic client satisfaction follow-ups
- Build reports for the business development team to monitor customer success, identify any issues, and present solutions
- Cultivate strong relationships with new clients and maintain existing client relationships
