The Sales Associate plays a critical role in supporting a high-performing sales team in delivering revenue goals and strengthening the sales pipeline. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, contributing to the sale of standard offerings, and supporting sales campaigns designed to drive team targets. The Sales Associate also serves as a key operational partner—ensuring the team’s administrative, prospecting, and customer engagement activities run efficiently and at pace.

  • Seek new business opportunities through new account acquisition and/or penetration of new buyer hubs within existing accounts.
  • Support the team in delivering against assigned sales and activity targets within a defined territory.
  • Execute high-efficiency, high-volume prospecting to generate and qualify leads that feed the team’s pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with lead generation, account managers, and other internal stakeholders to maximize the impact of joint sales efforts.
  • Offer day-to-day operational support to the sales team to enable swift progress against sales targets.
  • Seek mentorship and coaching from experienced sales team members, demonstrating curiosity, initiative, and a growth mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • No prior professional experience required—the role is designed for individuals demonstrating strong potential and interest in a future sales career.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $0 - $0.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
