Reporting to Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will perform advanced financial analysis supporting Grocery supply chain performance, including product costing, cost of goods sold variances, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to provide insights and recommendations that support sound business decisions, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive financial performance across the organization.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver the financial forecast in collaboration with Supply Chain business partners, including Plant Finance, Enterprise Procurement Finance, Transportation and Warehousing Finance, and contract manufacturing partners.
  • Coordinate accurate and timely variance-to-plan and variance-to-forecast reporting and communicate results to Operations and Supply Chain leadership.
  • Lead month-end close and forecast processes, including monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
  • Translate manufacturing activity and costs into Brand profit and loss impacts and communicate results to Brand Finance and Brand Management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with established financial control requirements.
  • Provide variance analysis, recommendations, and strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Partner with plant controllers and finance teams to analyze manufacturing costs, capital expenditures, and balance sheet performance.
  • Support annual planning and forecasting activities.
  • Implement and improve systems and processes that support forecasting, planning, and tracking manufacturing activity and costs.
  • Train business partners on financial processes and procedures.
  • Provide ad hoc financial and statistical analysis to Operations, Brand, and Finance teams.
  • Lead the cost estimate process and collaborate with research, quality, innovation, manufacturing, and operations partners on new product and product renovation costing.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree required.
  • 5+ years of professional finance, accounting, or related business experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including leveraging analytics, benchmarking, and insights to develop meaningful strategies and solutions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the capacity to work effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and supply chain operations preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Business Planning and Consolidation, and Microsoft Power BI preferred.
  • Master of Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
