Through experience, judgement and analytics develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and increase client and/or broker base.

Retain and grow existing client and/or broker base.

  • For Client Manager - Book of business will include up to 3,000 clients and $25,000,000 in annual revenue.
  • For Business Development Manager - Create and manage new business opportunities managing Broker relationships and generating up to $2,500,000 in annual revenue.

Through strategic consultation, formulate and implement customized business solutions for customers. Connect business plan objectives with Vision Care and enterprise initiatives.

Analyze data to provide strategic sales consultation to identify and secure renewal and/or upsell opportunities.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attain quota, focus on increasing revenue while also ensuring account retention and long-term viability. 

Ability to identify and execute complex sales messaging strategies tailored to a diverse customer base.  

Educate customer base on available products and programs. Focus sales efforts on opportunities that meet customer needs and support market strategy.

Deliver informal and formal presentations to audiences of 25 or more.

Identify territory trends, competition and customer behavior to develop strategic plans that maximize revenue and growth potential.

Drive cross collaboration within Vision Care SBU’s and across other lines of business to leverage enterprise strategies.

Any additional duties assigned by leadership.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.

Six years of sales experience, focused in account management, business development, or client relationship experience. Insurance industry experience preferred.

Leverage experience to achieve strategic initiatives and performance goals.

Provide resolutions through the ability to successfully influence and negotiate.

Demonstrate professionalism and leadership in dealing with situations involving complexity, controversy or conflict.

Ability to navigate complex situations through organizational landscape with multiple stakeholders.

Consistently use discretion and good judgment in all customer and team interactions.

Build relationships with key decision-makers.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver presentations to large groups.

Strong attention to detail, organizational and customer service skills.

Demonstrates financial acumen or ability to learn it.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Possess Clean DMV record

Ability to achieve and maintain any applicable agent licensing requirements for any state(s) within assigned sales territory.

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $21.07 - $31.53
