I'm Michael Song, Senior Director, Engineering at Teamworks. Teamworks Hub is the platform at the center of our product ecosystem — it powers more than 6,500 sports organizations and is expanding into high-performance tactical environments supporting the Army's H2F program. I'm looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who wants to work at the platform level, where the decisions you make and the systems you build underpin multiple products and a broad, demanding user base.
This is a high-ownership role. You'll contribute to architectural decisions, lead technical design discussions, and build capabilities that other Teamworks products rely on every day.
The RoleOwn and deliver end-to-end full-stack features across React/TypeScript and Python, from system design through production deployment
Design and implement scalable platform capabilities that integrate multiple Teamworks products into a unified experience
Lead technical design discussions and produce clear, actionable RFCs that shape how the team builds
Contribute to and refine API design (REST/GraphQL) powering internal and external integrations
Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability across the Hub platform
Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and design guidance, and participate in on-call rotation with strong production ownership
5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript on the frontend, and Python on the backend
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Proven ability to design and ship scalable production systems
Strong system design fundamentals and experience leading or heavily contributing to architectural decisions
You have experience with GraphQL
You use Generative AI tools (Claude, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate your development workflows
You have experience working on government contracts or with government contractors
You hold an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
You've built platform-layer systems or multi-product integration frameworks
Hub is the foundation everything else is built on, and this team has real influence over how it evolves. If you're motivated by building at the platform level — where your work supports multiple teams, drives meaningful impact, and requires thinking beyond any single feature — this is where that work happens at Teamworks.
