Duties & Responsibilities:

Lincoln International is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support Business Enablement initiatives, including AI-enabled tools, internal applications, and process improvement solutions. This role will work at the intersection of business needs and technical execution, partnering with internal stakeholders and technical team members to gather requirements, define scope, document workflows, and support the delivery of practical technology solutions.

This position will support a range of AI and technology development efforts rather than focusing on one specific system. The role will help ensure business needs are clearly understood, requirements are well documented, and solutions are aligned with practical use cases across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements for AI-enabled tools, internal applications, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and other development-ready documentation for technical teams.
  • Facilitate scoping discussions to define objectives, use cases, dependencies, constraints, open questions, assumptions, and key decisions.
  • Maintain organized project and requirements documentation, including meeting notes, action items, decision logs, issue lists, requirement updates, and testing feedback.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing by helping define test scenarios, capturing stakeholder feedback, documenting issues, and confirming whether solutions align with documented requirements.
  • Support change management and adoption efforts by coordinating stakeholder communication, preparing user guidance, documenting process changes, and supporting training or rollout activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, systems analysis, technical project management, or a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Comfort working with technical teams and discussing software, systems, data, workflows, or application development concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting custom application development, software implementation, workflow automation, AI solutions, or similar technology projects.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts, Agile practices, testing, release support, or change request processes.
  • Experience using project or documentation tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar platforms.
