What you’ll be doing

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities, expanding into new state purchasing contracts and vehicles
  • Establish and cultivate strategic relationships with prime contractors, government agencies, and industry partners
  • Identify partnership opportunities that align with Codal’s capabilities and growth strategy
  • Opportunity to build and shape Codal’s government practice working directly with Codal’s Director of Special Projects
  • Represent Codal at industry events, government conferences, and networking functions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop compelling value propositions for government clients
  • Drive teaming arrangements and subcontracting opportunities
  • Monitor agency forecasts and market intelligence to identify upcoming opportunities for relationship-building
  • Develop and implement strategic partnership plans for key target agencies
  • Track and report on pipeline development and relationship progression
  • Collaborate with proposal teams to ensure successful bid submissions
  • Assist with proposal writing and submission
     

What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)

  • 4+ years of experience in government contracting, business development, or similar roles
  • Proven track record of winning multi-million dollar government contracts
  • Demonstrated success building strategic partnerships in the public sector
  • Experience with GSA schedule and other federal government contract vehicles
  • Experience with SLED procurement processes
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Willingness to travel as required

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with DoD, VA, or HHS contracting
  • Experience with SLED procurement in the Midwest 
  • Experience with IT services or sales
  • Experience at a technology consultancy 

Benefits and Salary

  • $110,000.00- $200,000.00 OTE, the rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
