Keeper Security is seeking a Senior Tableau Analyst to join our growing Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a 100% remote position, with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro areas.

About the Role

As a Senior Tableau Analyst, you will design and optimize Tableau dashboards, extracts, and data sources built on our Redshift analytics platform. You will collaborate with Data Engineering on dbt-modeled marts and semantic consistency, while owning Tableau standards, performance tuning, and governance. This role requires strong SQL, deep Tableau expertise, and the ability to deliver reliable reporting that scales across teams and supports KPI-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau Desktop that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
  • Partner with business teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Product to translate analytical needs into effective visualizations
  • Build Tableau data sources and optimize connections to the Redshift data warehouse for performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with data engineers to leverage dbt-modeled data marts and ensure semantic consistency across reporting
  • Establish and maintain Tableau governance standards, including naming conventions, folder structures, and visual design guidelines
  • Monitor dashboard performance and usage, proactively optimizing slow-running queries and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and present findings to leadership
  • Train and support business users in self-service analytics, promoting data literacy across the organization
  • Maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, and business logic to ensure knowledge sharing and sustainability
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards when working with sensitive data such as PII and PHI

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing business intelligence solutions using Tableau Desktop; SaaS experience preferred
  • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau, including calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, and performance optimization
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying data warehouses; Redshift preferred, Snowflake or BigQuery acceptable
  • Experience working with AWS data services and cloud-based data architectures
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear and intuitive data visualizations
  • Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas
  • Experience with data governance, security practices, and working with regulated data such as PII or PHI
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with version control and project management tools such as Git and Jira
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Due to FedRAMP requirements, candidates must be a U.S. Person

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud administration experience
  • Experience with dbt and familiarity with analytics engineering workflows
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization design principles and best practices
  • Experience with additional BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Sigma
  • Tableau certification
  • Experience in the cybersecurity or technology industry

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.

7. Retention

We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.

Exceptions:

  • You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
  • You're hired (transfers to employee records)

8. Your Rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your data, subject to applicable law and retention requirements
