Data science is an advanced field that requires intricate knowledge of scientific methods, algorithms and the processes by which information is withdrawn from sets of structured and unstructured data. Because of this, getting into the field looks very different from other professions. Many junior and entry-level roles require more advanced qualifications like a PhD or master’s degree.
