Advises merchant finance teams, communicates through email and phone, analyzes pain points, and collaborates with Finance, Product, Development, and Account Management teams to improve products and merchant operations. Requires financial product knowledge, analytical ability, commercial judgment, decision-making under pressure, and advanced Excel proficiency.

Leads Adyen’s Americas Customer Due Diligence function, overseeing approximately 45 employees and five managers across onboarding and ongoing reviews. The role develops regional CDD strategy, manages complex escalations, partners with Compliance, Commercial, Product, Legal, and Operations, improves scalable processes and automation, ensures regulatory alignment, and drives team growth and performance across multiple locations.

Assess and manage financial risk (chargebacks) for enterprise merchants, improve risk management framework, lead cross-functional projects, advise credit risk committee, and collaborate with Product, Legal, and Commercial teams.

Investigate transaction patterns, account activity, and user behavior to detect and prevent merchant fraud in real time. Support fraud detection system improvements, develop incident-response and funds-recovery procedures, conduct root-cause analysis, monitor fraud trends, and meet productivity and quality targets while collaborating with Risk, Product, and Merchant Operations teams.
