It also involves documentation, competitive analysis, cross-functional architecture decisions, mentoring, onboarding, and exploring emerging AI compute capabilities.

Develop and maintain embedded firmware and kernel/user-mode device drivers for Ethernet-based networking devices. Design, implement, test, and integrate drivers into a Linux and AUTOSAR communication stack, build SDK components, and create debug/test utilities and automated unit/system tests for safety-critical automotive applications.

Optimize Ubuntu integration across latest IoT and server-class hardware, lead customer engagements, and work with open source communities in a remote, collaborative environment.

Serve as an embedded Linux expert on customer projects: design and refactor real-time architectures, develop Linux kernel drivers, debug low-level hardware/software issues, optimize kernel performance, collaborate with customers and internal teams, lead technical efforts, produce high-quality deliverables, and create technical proposals to support product lifecycle and certification.

Design and implement embedded firmware and low-level software for server BMCs and GPU/HPC platforms.
