AMO Benefits Summary
Medical, dental, vision, 401K and commuter benefits are pre-tax deductions.

Medical
AMO’s Medical Insurance options are covered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois. There are different PPO options and an HMO option as well. AMO covers 75% of each employee's premiums and covers 25% of dependents.
Coverage begins on an employee’s first day of employment.

Dental
AMO’s Dental plans are provided by Principal. AMO provides 80% of the premium for employees.

Vision
AMO Vision plans are provided by principal. AMO provides 80% of the premium for employees.

Life Insurance
AMO’s life insurance plan is provided by Guardian. AMO covers the whole premium for employees.

Long Term Disability
AMO’s Long Term Disability plan is provided by Guardian. AMO covers the whole premium for employees.

401K
AMO provides 401K options through Guideline. AMO matches 100% up to 3% of the employee’s salary and 50% match for the next 2%.
Eligiblity begins 90 days after an employee’s first day of employment.

Commuter
AMO provides employees the opportunity to set up pre-tax deductions for parking and transit expenses. Employees can deduct a maximum of $265 per month on parking or transit expenses form their paycheck. Commuter benefits include Ventra/Metro expenses, Lift and Uber ride-sharing, and parking in garages or on the street.
Coverage begins on the first of the month following the employee’s start date.

Fooda/Snacks/Events
AMO partners with Fooda every other Wednesday to assist in providing lunch or snacks for AMO team members. AMO covers the delivery fee, tip and provides a $5 credit for each employee.
AMO’s Kitchenette is stocked with a variety of snacks and beverages for team members to enjoy at their leisure.
Every other Thursday at 4:30, AMO coordinates Charcuterie Club in the Kitchenette. Team members are encouraged to enjoy some meats, cheeses, and wine together as well as each other’s company.
In addition to AMO’s staple events, AMO’s Culture Club coordinates other fun events for team members to relax with each other. Previous events have included a summer boat event on Lake Michigan, Game Night at AMO, Winter Holiday Party, and Happy Hours to just name a few.
