The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy is hosting two events to encourage young entrepreneurs at 1871 in November:

The IMSA Room Open House
Come to the launch of the IMSA Room at 1871, enjoy free refreshments from the Chopping Block and meet some of Illinois's brightest, budding high school entrepreneurs. The IMSA room showcases why IMSA is a member of 1871: from outstanding alumni entrepreneurs (YouTube, PayPal, Yelp) to today's high school students, IMSA's entrepreneurs consistently push the digital boundaries.

20 Under 20 Thiel Fellowship: Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Join members of the Thiel Foundation for a discussion on innovation in science, technology and entrepreneurship and learn how to receive a $100,000 Fellowship. For young persons 19 years old and younger.
