Online ticket vendor Vivid Seats announced its expansion to a new headquarters in the West Loop to accommodate the over 100 employees its added since last year.

“We've been fortunate to grow our staff size very rapidly, and we need more space for both our corporate and our operations team,” Vivid Seats co-founder Eric Vassilatos said in a statement.

Vivid Seats is joining tech giants Twitter and Gogo Wireless, who recently signed deals to be housed in the same building, at its new headquarters at 111 N Canal. .

Founded in 2001, Vivid Seats is a marketplace for concert, sports and event tickets, which has emerged as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Chicago.

Vivid Seats will retain its current 16,000-square foot office space at 344 N Ogden, but its new lease includes an option for an expansion at the new Canal Street location. Even further expansion seem likely given the company's current rate of growth: Vivid Seats has increased its employee base 400 percent since 2011, and is showing no signs of slowing down.
