All YCharters are provided the flexibility to work from wherever, whether it be the office, their home, an Airbnb out-of-state, or even the country! As long as they continue to achieve their goals, we’re leaving our flexible policy available. For those who do want to come into the office, we moved into a brand new space and added a state-of-the-art air filtration system, a $20/day stipend for office lunches via Grubhub, new fun games, tons of snacks as well a massage chair in our peace room to regroup after a long call. All remote YCharters are given the option of having monitors, a desk and tech equipment sent to their residence. Lastly, and probably most importantly, we all know and felt the effects COVID had on our mental and physical health. To ensure the utmost well-being of all YCharters, we provide stipends for mental health needs, introduced additional sick days, added a “Celebration Day” where employees can enjoy an extra day of PTO, and implemented virtual team building exercises. A new committee, “BuddY Program” was created to help new employees assimilate more easily (either virtually or in person) into our company culture. We’ve also enhanced our Support Structure Policy and Employee Assistance Program as well so all YCharters can rest easy when it comes to understanding mental health comes first.
