Polsky Accelerator Demo Day — Summer 2017 Cohort, Aug 29 at 1 p.m.
The University of Chicago’s Gleacher Center plays host to this demo day for the Polsky Accelerator’s summer 2017 cohort. A total of nine startups will be presenting.
Morningstar Tech Talks: Starting an API Program, Aug 29 at 5:15 p.m.
Learn the ins and outs of starting and managing an API program at this Morningstar Tech Talk. Arity’s Ben Rodriguez, a self-described "API Champion," will lead the talk.
Startup Funding Workshop, Aug 30 at 5:30 p.m.
RJ Pahura, CEO and founder of Venture Connects, leads this workshop, which is targeted at both founders and early-stage investors. After the workshop ends, there will be a Q&A session as well as a group discussion.
Everything you need to know before implementing chatbots for your business, Aug 30 at 5:30 p.m.
Wondering if a chatbot is right for your business? This event answers that question and then some, with explanations of the many different types of chatbots as well as industry-specific use cases and implementation strategies.
MinnoTank, Aug 31 at 2 p.m.
MinnoTank is a private investment networking event for startups looking to raise between $500,000 and $5 million. The event takes place at mHUB, with support from the Founder Institute of Chicago.
