Tech Jobs Tour Chicago, October 30 at 5 p.m.

The Tech Jobs Tour is coming to the Merchandise Mart. This all-day event features a career fair, product demos, tech talks, networking and mentorship sessions.

Learn A Language Series: Intro to React, November 1 at 6 p.m.

At this workshop, you’ll get an introduction into how to create user interfaces using React. Attendees will build a front-end application to learn about React’s strengths and whether it’s right for use in their future projects.

Hackers and Hustlers Chicago Happy Hour, November 2 at 5:30 p.m.

Hackers and Hustlers is having its first-ever Chicago happy hour! The meetup group is for young entrepreneurs and is being hosted at TechNexus’ office.

Data Driven Chicago with Echo, Groupon, Reverb, Sprout Social & Trunk Club (moderated by Built In Chicago), November 2 at 6 p.m.

Echo Global Logistics, Groupon, Reverb, Sprout Social and Trunk Club are shining a spotlight on the work Chicago’s tech community is doing with machine learning and big data. Participating companies will discuss the challenges they’re tackling and answer questions from audience members during a roundtable discussion.

Dare Mighty Things Tech Conference, November 3 at 9 a.m.

Dare Mighty Things is a conference designed to inspire technologists and spur innovation. The event is being held at the Auditorium Theatre and features a full day of panels and talks focusing on the future of tech.
