<p>TravelinWheels solves the problem people with disabilities have when they travel; a lack of information that they need in order to travel confidently.&nbsp; People with disabilities make up a growing 15% of the world population and spend nearly $3 trillion a year, but they have a difficult time finding the information they need to navigate the world without stress.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>TravelinWheels looks at the things that people with disabilities need to know, including general city navigation, transportation, medical facilities, lodging, restaurants, stores, tours and attractions.&nbsp; We don't try to guess what people need; we just tell them what the facility has in a simple way.&nbsp; Our searchable database holds information about properties that no one else collects, but is important to our visitors.&nbsp; We let them decide if it will work for them.</p><p>Website visitors can get information on parking proximity, hotel room configurations, companion/accessible &nbsp;restrooms, restaurant layouts, tours that have wheelchair lifts, how to navigate the transportation system, and what to do in an emergency.&nbsp; We look at destinations holistically because that is how people with disabilities and their families need to look at them.</p><p>Our travel stories and tips and tricks provide community members with the opportunity to contribute their experiences and share the wealth of knowledge.&nbsp; Our blogs and newsletters provide new inspiration and ideas on places to go and things to do.&nbsp;</p><p>We are THE source for reliable destination information for people with disabilities and their families.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
