On February 10th 2011, current students, faculty and 100 members of the Chicago technology community got together at the UIC Forum to welcome ChiTech's class of 2015. On that chilly evening, 275 lucky students were selected from more than 1,000 applicants.
This evening was a lot of things, but most of all it was a celebration: a celebration of the partnership among educators, technology leaders, students & parents and philanthropy that is Chicago Tech Academy; it was a celebration of the unique ways in which this partnership is changing the lives of our students, through technology, entrepreneurship and an outstanding education.
Together, we're inspiring students to work hard, dream big, and do great things.
