As he sat at his yearly garage sale selling toys to make enough money to buy more LEGO sets he recieved a box in the mail from a subscription company that he asked for his birthday. He was disappointed in the contents and wished it had more brick items. The light bulb went off and the business plan was created in his garage. With the help of his mom, they did a "shark tank" type presentation to dad to get funding.
