Leads Morningstar’s U.S. Investment Management distribution organization, setting go-to-market strategy and driving revenue, net asset flow, market-share growth, and strategic partnerships. Oversees advisor distribution, sales, national accounts, portfolio specialists, and practice consulting. Builds commercial infrastructure, manages forecasting and P&L contributions, launches investment capabilities, strengthens advisor relationships, and develops a high-performing leadership team.

Lead national sales and market development for Morningstar Retirement’s Managed Accounts and Custom Target Date solutions. Build relationships with recordkeepers, consultants, advisors, plan sponsors, and investment committees; serve as a large-market defined contribution subject matter expert; support competitive sales, retention, product positioning, and strategic growth; provide marketplace intelligence; represent the company at industry events; and achieve sales, placement, retention, and asset growth goals.

Grow revenue and strategic-account relationships by increasing adoption of Morningstar Direct and expanding use of Report Distribution. Identify client needs, uncover new opportunities, build stakeholder relationships, demonstrate products, develop account growth plans, forecast pipeline, negotiate contracts, and close business. The role serves institutional investment clients across the U.S., works with senior business development leaders, and requires approximately 30% travel.

Analyze sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting, conversion, territories, and revenue drivers. Build dashboards, reports, and scorecards; audit CRM data quality; define sales metrics; and translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations. Partner with sales leadership, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success on planning, pipeline visibility, quota analysis, segmentation, and productivity improvements.

Manage and grow a portfolio of Mid-Market advisor, asset management, and institutional clients. Serve as primary contact, drive retention and expansion, own full sales cycle, deliver revenue and retention targets, conduct client meetings and demos, partner with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and forecasting.

Sell and expand Morningstar Research Data Products to institutional clients (asset managers, hedge funds, banks). Own revenue targets, lead consultative conversations on data usage and licensing, deliver product demos, manage pipeline and forecasts in CRM, and collaborate with Product, Legal, and Customer Success. Role requires ~30% travel and is based in Chicago, New York, or London.
