Build and operate Supabase’s multi-tenant, multi-region Kubernetes container platform. Responsibilities include platform automation, controllers, internal tooling, CI/CD and rollout primitives, security automation, observability, SLOs, error budgets, incident response, operational readiness reviews, resilience design, and infrastructure cost optimization. The role participates in on-call rotations and guides product teams toward reliable operational practices.

Build and own Supabase’s internal AI execution platform, including event-driven agent runtimes, durable state, human review, rollback, observability, evaluations, governance, and least-privilege tooling. Triage cases, guide users to documentation and code examples, monitor GitHub feedback channels, escalate issues, and identify tooling improvements. Reproduce bugs and create test cases when applicable. The role requires strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge, Linux and command-line proficiency, GitHub experience, excellent English communication, and at least three years of developer-support experience. This is a fully remote APAC weekend position with four 10-hour shifts.

Build and scale Supabase Storage across client libraries, CLI, CDN, storage servers, and deployment infrastructure. Build and maintain Supabase’s public Python SDK across database, authentication, storage, realtime, and edge functions. Develop natural sync and async APIs, manage typing, packaging, testing, release automation, documentation, and issue triage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and open-source contributors, support multiple Python environments, maintain WebSocket functionality, and design migration paths for API changes.
